Lend me a paw...

Steve and Brenda Trainor of Genesee River Trading Co. brought the first truck full of their wonderful Americana today and they had a little help from their four legged friend, Miss Jane Russell.

Steve and Brenda first set up shop in High Point in the fall of 1989, two hundred square feet in a building still under construction. A few hours before they left home Brenda went around pulling lamps, quilts and vintage accessories to fill out the showroom. "Hey, what if people want to buy our stuff?", Steve asked. "We'll just tell them it's not for sale", she replied. You can guess what happened at the show. The rest as they say "is history".  For more than 20 years they've offered classic Americana through their furniture showroom in Market Square, so they are thrilled to be able to expand on that and offer a full showroom of antiques.

Come see them in space 35a on the ground level of the A&DC at Market Square, just beyond the Suites and Salon.
