Exhibitor Spotlight - Huff Harrington Home

We are so excited to welcome Huff Harrington back to the Antique & Design Center this Fall and can't wait to see the crunchy antiques and modern art they have curated just for you!

What happens when two committed Francophiles, art lovers and design junkies get together over a bottle of red wine? A fine art gallery with a little je ne sais quoi is born, followed a few years later by its home furnishings and décor sibling.

The first member of the family was Huff Harrington Fine Art, our little gallery located on a cute and quiet street in Atlanta’s busy Buckhead neighborhood. Over the years, we found that our taste in art struck a chord with our clients and we enjoyed every minute of helping them begin or expand their collections with art from the emerging and established artists we represent as well as the French artists with whom we work. We also found that art was just part of the equation and that our clients wanted help with the rest of their home furnishings.

So, when we got to thinking about expanding our gallery business, the perfect evolution was a home furnishings boutique where we could indulge ourselves in our other love: design and décor. And, of course, all things French—and all the things we love. Our vision for this home furnishings store is now a reality, and we’re thrilled with our light and airy space on one of the nicest streets in town. And of course our love of all things French and fun has taken us to many trips to France. So a natural extension of our business and passion is to offer personally hosted trips to Paris and Provence, for buying, shopping, sightseeing and all the accoutrements that make up our adventures in France. We do these trips as often as we possibly can!

ANN HUFF (right) is our very own go-to expert on all things Francais. She was raised in Geneva, lived in France and speaks flawless French. She adores anything Louis and knows the Paris flea markets like the back of her hand. We also call her our advertising and marketing whiz (talents honed in her other life with a 20-year career in New York and Boston). She’s armed with a B.A. in Art History from Swarthmore College and her art career got started when she began selling original French art from her Atlanta home—which happily led to Huff Harrington Fine Art. She loves classical music but her ring tone is Coldplay. And, it’s no surprise that her perfect day is browsing Paris galleries and flea markets… which she now loves to share with others on our trips to France. She’s married to Bill and has two twenty-something daughters.

MEG HARRINGTON (left) grew up with a suitcase in one hand and a passport in the other. Being dragged to art museums all over the world may have seemed like torture as a kid, but it planted the seeds for a love of art that grew into Huff Harrington Fine Art. A degree in French from Stetson University led to public relations work in New York and Palm Beach. Several years after landing in Atlanta, a chance meeting with Ann led to Huff Harrington Fine Art. Her love of fine furnishings and décor (especially the happy marriage between crunchy antiques and modern art) is fueled by the endless home magazines that she devours in her little bit of spare time. She loves all the Frenchy stuff—as well as food, wine, books, fireplaces and long quiet afternoons by the pool. She’s married to Scott and has two teenaged daughters.
