Brimfield

Karen and I just finished up a wonderful trip to Brimfield. We missed Chandra, as she was back at the the A&DC holding down the fort, while we got to enjoy some pretty perfect weather and great picking in Massachusetts.

In May, we all trudged through rain and mud as we searched for treasure but were rewarded with what were unusually beautiful skies this July.

Karen, not only organizes the Antique & Design Center with Chandra and me, but she has been an antique dealer and interior designer for many years with Luisana Designs and Antiques.  She has an amazing eye and quite a following of interior designers that love her finds.

Looking forward to September...
This was our space in Dealer's Choice Field on Tuesday.
Two little oil paintings that Karen found.
Dinner with good friends after a long day in the fields.  Karen Luisana, George Shahady, Susan McCarthy, Bruce Barone and Vickie Shahady. (clockwise from left)
Cooltiques and Robert Lloyd Fine Antiques had reggae playing and a POOL with Crawfish and palm trees under their tent, not to mention some beautiful antiques.
Great cocktail table with hand painted tiles.
relaxing on the back porch after a long day of treasure hunting
May's Field had a huge line of buyers ready to run for it when the gates opened on Thursday.
Sammy Wein, son of Jason and Debbie Wein of Cleveland Art, made this beautiful hand blown glass dish, which was a "must have" for me.  I couldn't resist that smile.
42 steps up from our cabin to the little dirt road where the van was parked.  What an adventure!
