As a to-the-trade decorative arts studio specializing in architectural finishes and decorative arts services, R. Lusk is pleased to introduce an exciting new line of specialized handcrafted art panels that are debuting this fall.
With a degree in fine art and an emphasis on painting, Reese’s inspiration for these exotic art panels was motivated by his travels. Through trips to Europe, Greece, the Middle East and North Africa, he was inspired by the rich colors and textures of the fabrics and arts native to each country.
Multiple color combinations and patterns of the panels reflect this varied cultural inspiration. A variety of sizes, from 20” x 20” to 48” x 48” (customs sizes are also available), offer a wide range of applications.
Each piece is hand-painted in rich pigments and gold leaf. It is then antiqued and mounted on a linen-wrapped panel, giving the appearance of a textile found on one’s exotic travels. Box framed in acrylic (pictured) or natural wood, they are perfect for a traditional or transitional residence or commercial space.
