This member's only event explores High Point Market's top vintage and antique resource. Justin Shaulis is a designer with twin talents: an architecture background and in-depth knowledge of interior elements. He transforms homes, apartments and venues into stunning environments for a stable of clients who demand luxurious surroundings. Balancing the classic and the modern, he approaches each project collaboratively with the client. His aesthetic varies with the influence and the context. What remains consistent is the devotion to exploring lifestyle, a theme he understands with depth given his own appreciation of luxury, and all it brings to an environ and its occupants. Based in New York City, he has completed work throughout the US, Carribean and the UK. Join as he shares his secret sources at the ADC.

The Antiques Diva Early Bird Tour of The Antique & Design Center

The early bird gets the worm at the ADC with Toma Clark Haines, owner of Europe's largest antiques touring and buying service company, as she takes you on a tour of the major antique periods and styles to identify their key characteristics utilizing modern day metaphors and featuring inventory found at the Antique and Design Center in High Point. No passport required. Focusing on the antique trends in Europe- The Antiques Diva(R) is taking antiques out of the past and bringing them into the future of design.

Join Mac Hoak of Mecox Gardens, Kenneth McRobbie & Colin Blanchard of 31 Westgate, and Lance Jackson & David Ecton of Parker Kennedy Living as they discuss the use of Antiques, Vintage and Artisan-Made pieces along-side new pieces from HPMKT manufacturers in their stand-out stores and design work. Combined they represent 9 beautiful retail locations and countless award winning design projects across the US and Canada.

Interior design icon Mary Douglas Drysdale, interior and product designer Susan Jamieson of Bridget Beari® and Toma Clark Haines the, "Antiques Diva" share their secrets for masterfully mixing antique, modern and traditional elements to create spaces that feel cohesive and considered rather than chaotic. Each panelist will divulge insider tips from distinguishing and sourcing antiques, to incorporating clients’ existing heirlooms, to updating and connecting periods and styles with innovative color. Moderated by Tobi Fairley, renowned interior and product designer and consultant. Special Guest, Esteem Media & Design Blogger Conference Founder, Adam Japko will provide Prosecco.

Once Upon a Pillow with Rebecca Vizard of B VIZ Design

Rebecca Vizard is recognized for her innovative use of rare and beautiful antique textiles. Her pillows are distinguished by their elegant compositions of unusual elements and their impeccable hand sewn craftsmanship. They have graced the pages of national and international publications such as Veranda, Architectural Digest, World of Interiors, etc. Join Rebecca as she shares the ups and downs of her entrepreneurial journey and magnificent photography from her travels, Louisiana studio environs, and her new book "Once Upon A Pillow.” A book signing and trunk show to follow.
