The Antiques Diva Early Bird Tour of The Antique & Design Center
The early bird gets the worm at the ADC with Toma Clark Haines, owner of Europe's largest antiques touring and buying service company, as she takes you on a tour of the major antique periods and styles to identify their key characteristics utilizing modern day metaphors and featuring inventory found at the Antique and Design Center in High Point. No passport required. Focusing on the antique trends in Europe- The Antiques Diva(R) is taking antiques out of the past and bringing them into the future of design. Meet at the main entrance of the Antique & Design Center by the Statue, and grab a glass of bubbly to start the tour.

The Role of High Point Market When it Comes to Global Sourcing
Toma Clark Haines, The Antiques Diva, discusses global sourcing and the role of High Point Market and it's exhibitors, whether it's manufacturers and showrooms seeking inspiration or antiques dealers buying around the world to bring to Market, we often hear the motto "High Point to the World" but the World also comes to High Point, Toma will be joined by Kim Faison of Kim Faison Antiques, Cecil Adams of Currey & Company and Randal Weeks of Aidan Gray.

Michelle Nussbaumer, whose projects are frequently featured in the pages of House Beautiful, Elle Decor, Veranda, Architectural Digest and others, has a passion for travel like no other. This wanderlust takes her on adventures around the globe and travel informs the interiors she creates for her clients and her own homes in Dallas, Switzerland and Mexico. Michelle will discuss how you too can inspire your homes with your love for travel and the wonderful treasures you accumulate on your trips and how you can help your clients do the same. Gary Inman, Vice President of Baskervill and America’s most celebrated design storyteller, shares the secrets of his signature design approach using case studies of fine homes and luxury hotels and resorts. From research methods and contextual analysis, to narrative concepts discover the insider secrets that assure a provocative and memorable design for every project. No design technique is more seductive than a well-crafted and visually lush story.

Love It Or Hate It - Hosted by Chairish at the ADC
Join Domino Magazine Editor in Chief Jessica Romm Perez and Chairish President Anna Brockway as they lead a lively group of top interior designers including Lauren Liess, Charlotte Lucas, Laura Umansky, Sarah Wittenbraker, Jenny Komenda and Jason Oliver Nixon of Madcap Cottage in the panel game of Love It or Hate It. This spirited and irreverent event gives a spontaneous yay or nay on top design trends: banana leaf wallpaper, gallery walls, Papa Bear chairs – are they in, out, or somewhere in between? We’ll have some laughs while watching industry thought leaders dish and diss design. Champagne Reception begins at 2:30 and panel promptly at 3pm.


Monday, October 24th- 4:30pm
Viva La Vintage - Hosted by Chairish at the ADC
Join designer and life style expert Eddie Ross as he shares his skills for discovering the hidden potential in vintage pieces and turning duds in diamonds. Learn how to develop your vintage vision, discover the hidden potential in vintage furniture and accessories, and how to transform them into winning pieces. Cocktail reception starts at 4:30 PM with panel discussion promptly at 5:00. Following the panel, Eddie will be available to sign copies of his book, Modern Mix: Curating Personal Style with Chic and Accessible Finds.
